You can use Garmin Express to download and install the latest maps and software updates for your device. Map updates provide the latest available appointment data to ensure your device stays accurate and efficient towards your destinations. Garmin Express is available for Windows® and Mac® computers.
- On your computer, go to www.garmin.com/express.
- Select a selection:
- To install on a Windows computer, select Download for Windows.
- To install on a Mac computer, select the Mac version.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
- Start Garmin Express.
- Connect your Garmin® device to your computer with a USB cable.
- Garmin Express detects your device.
- Enter a product registration email address (optional).
- Click Save device.
- Click on Check for updates.
- A list of available maps and software updates appears.
- Select updates to install.
- Click Install now.
